Batfish Road Dive area:

Haa Dhaalu Atoll

The dive site is located on the east side of the island of Naridhoo. The reef top starts at a depth of 8-12m and drops steeply to 30m +. The steep wall has many large overhangs which are a paradise for macro lovers. Various species of snails, shrimps and cleaner fish, waiting for the next fish in the small swim-throughs, can be seen here. In blue you will be accompanied by a large family of batfish, thunas and sometimes reef sharks.

 

Candyland Dive area:

This beautiful Thila, located in the south of Hondaafushi, is hidden in the blue water and totally covered with blue, red, yellow and purple soft and hard corals. On the south-west side there are many large overhangs with big groups of mackerels and snappers. Also the view into the blue water is worthwhile. There are always great encounters with big fish and various types of rays.

 

Crusoe Thila Dive area:

The north of the uninhabited island of Hodaidhoo Crusoe Thila starts at 15m depth and is decorated around with many beautiful overhangs. A great place for swarming fish and macro lovers. In the overhangs ruffle various nudibranchs, shrimp and sometimes a nurse shark.

 
Dhidhoo Wall Dive area:

This drift dive takes us to the channel southwest of Didhdhoo Island. The reef top starts at 8-10m and drops down to 30m. The reef wall is covered by large and small overhangs. In the overhangs you can find various nudibranchs and shrimps. A look into the blue water is always worthwhile. There plenty schooling fishes and various types of rays to see.

Filladhoo Wreck Dive area:
Haa Dhaalu Atoll

The wreck, named "Captain Pentails", sunk in 1963, on the south-eastern side of Filladhoo Island, can already be seen from the surface. It lies diagonally sloping at a depth between 0-18m. Although only a few parts of the wreck are well preserved, it can still convince with a lot of flock fish. In addition to numerous species of snapper turtles and eagle rays have found a home here.

This dive site is located on the north side of the island of Mulidhoo. There are plenty of colorful fish to see. In addition to swarms of blue lepers, yellow snappers, tuna’s, mackerel and turtles are not uncommon. During the north-east monsoon mantas can also be seen at the small cleaner blocks.

 

Flokati Thila Dive area:

A real sensation! This beautifully overgrown, at 15 m. beginning Thila is located south of Hondaafushi and lives up to its name. Like a flokati rug, hard corals and red, yellow and blue soft corals cover the reef top, the many overhangs and its two large canyons on the south-east and north-west sides. In addition to mackerel and fusilier swarms, sleeping nurse sharks, whitetip and gray reef sharks can also be seen here.

Golden Wall Dive area:

A nice drift dive on the outer edge of the atoll. The reef wall, which is traversed by large overhangs, starts at a depth of 6m and drops steeply to 30m. The overhangs are beautifully overgrown with yellow soft coral. Here hiding various shrimp species, scorpion fish, nudibranchs and Lobster. A look into the blue water is worthwhile. In addition to hunting tuna’s and mackerels, reef sharks and stingrays move along the golden wall.

 

Kingdom of Fish Dive area:
Haa Dhaalu Atoll

Here you can expect a true kingdom of fish. The southern side of the Thila, which is several hundred meters long, gradually drops from 15 meters depth to 30 meters. At the various levels you will find beautiful overhangs overgrown with soft corals. In the blue water you can see reef sharks and a lot of schooling fish. The reef top with its large hard coral blocks provides a perfect home for small reef sharks and snapper swarms.

 

Mafaahi West Dive area:

A relaxing dive on the house reef of Mafaahi Island. The reef top starts in a depth of 6-8 m and drops gently down to 25 meters. Due to the special growth of the reef, you often encounter turtles and ray species here. Along the wall, large coral blocks provide shelter for various macro critters.

Purple Cave Dive area:
Haa Dhaalu Atoll

A nice drift dive at the house reef of the island Alidhoo. On the steeply sloping, covered with purple sea whips, reef are large overhangs in which stingrays often rest. Also Lobster and large Barracudas can be seen here.

 

Rainbow Canyon Dive area:
Haa Dhaalu Atoll

A colorful thila located south of the island of Finey. The reef starts at a depth of 15m and drops steeply on all sides up to 30m. The south side is traversed by large overhangs covered in blue, red and orange soft corals. In the overhangs one encounters nudibranchs and microorganisms. But also, a look into the blue water is worthwhile. There are various types of rays and Napoleon wrasses are not uncommon.

 

Sharks Hole Dive area:
Haa Dhaalu Atoll

We start our dive in the blue water, about 100m away from a big Thila. At 30m depth we find a reef edge overgrown with blue soft corals. Here it is only waiting because the big fish comes by itself. At the edge you can see gray reef sharks, big barracudas and a lot of swarming fish. Then we drive to the Thila, which rises slowly to 12m depth. The big hard coral blocks hide lobster, stingrays and various snappers.

Snappers Corner Dive area:

This dive site is located on the south side of Muraidhoo Island were the reef top starts at a depth of 6 to 10m and drops steeply down to 30m +. On the wall we expect many different overhangs and two large blocks, covered with soft corals and surrounded by a large group of bluestriped snappers. In addition to various macro creatures you can meet sleeping nurse sharks, reef sharks and Napoleons.

The Cathedral Dive area:

A relaxed drift dive on the outer edge of the atoll. The reef starts at 8-10 meters depth and drops steeply to 30m. Next to the beautiful cathedral you can expect overhanging blue soft coral overhangs where nudibranchs and shrimp hide. Also, the view into the blue water is worthwhile, here you can discover hunting tunas, mackerel and reef sharks.

Turtle Hill Dive area:
Haa Dhaalu Atoll

This small Thila starts at a depth of 15m and is connected by a sandbar with the house reef of the island Muraidhoo. The house reef is a true turtle paradise due to its growth. In addition to turtles, you can observe in the small overhangs a lot of macroorganisms, such as pipefish, various nudibranchs and Lobster.
